Summer learning Journey Teaser week

For the summer learning Journey, I have been working on the teaser week.

I decided to do the  lorde task  because I like her music and I was interested in the topic.

I used Pikto chart because its a nice way of creating a poster.

Have you seen a Taika Waitit movie?

For the second task in the teaser week I chose to do the Taika Waitit

task.The task was to make a pepeha about your self. 

I used the create pepeha website.

For the Third task in the summer learning Journey I chose to do the Roald Dahl task.

For this task we had to make a picture of what the Big Friendly Giant looks like. 

I Used Piskel to create this master piece.

But I think I went to far and made a GIF :)

After we made a picture we had to describe the BFG.

here is my description.

The BFG is a tall slim giant,He has long legs and very big ears that can hear anything even dreams. The BFG even though he might be tall to Sophie he is the smallest of all the giants.

The BFG has a big trumpet used for blowing wishes into peoples bedrooms. The BFG also has a long brown cape to cover and hide from people who are awake. 

For the forth task I had to imagine what it would be like if I got hired to be the principal for a week,We had to think of 5 things that we would introduce to the school. Here are my 5 things

1. petting zoo

2.water slide 

3.better chairs

4.disco room 

5. cafeteria

Have you ever talked in front of lots of people?

Last week my Home base had to present a speech in front of everyone in our home base. 

And then they would be marked, the people who were in the finals would present it in front of our Hub. Then the winners would present in front of the school. 

We still are waiting for the results from my home base teacher.
