Summer learning Journey Teaser week

For the summer learning Journey, I have been working on the teaser week.

I decided to do the  lorde task  because I like her music and I was interested in the topic.

I used Pikto chart because its a nice way of creating a poster.

Have you seen a Taika Waitit movie?

For the second task in the teaser week I chose to do the Taika Waitit

task.The task was to make a pepeha about your self. 

I used the create pepeha website.

For the Third task in the summer learning Journey I chose to do the Roald Dahl task.

For this task we had to make a picture of what the Big Friendly Giant looks like. 

I Used Piskel to create this master piece.

But I think I went to far and made a GIF :)

After we made a picture we had to describe the BFG.

here is my description.

The BFG is a tall slim giant,He has long legs and very big ears that can hear anything even dreams. The BFG even though he might be tall to Sophie he is the smallest of all the giants.

The BFG has a big trumpet used for blowing wishes into peoples bedrooms. The BFG also has a long brown cape to cover and hide from people who are awake. 

For the forth task I had to imagine what it would be like if I got hired to be the principal for a week,We had to think of 5 things that we would introduce to the school. Here are my 5 things

1. petting zoo

2.water slide 

3.better chairs

4.disco room 

5. cafeteria

Have you ever talked in front of lots of people?

Last week my Home base had to present a speech in front of everyone in our home base. 

And then they would be marked, the people who were in the finals would present it in front of our Hub. Then the winners would present in front of the school. 

We still are waiting for the results from my home base teacher.

Amazing animation

This is my friend's animation that we have been making in Miss Raynel's Literacy group. It is an animation of a story that we have been working on called Roblox Takes Over Minecraft. It is still a work in progress, if you have ideas for what we could do next we would love to add it in. :)

Fun Free writing

Do you play video games? What game do you think is better, Roblox or Mine Craft?  This is a story about three mine craft characters Honey,Mathew and Flynn, who were battling in a field one day when the roblox symbol came and sucked them into roblox! Flynn, Mathew and I would like some feed back from people who play roblox so we can add more games in. Otherwise enjoy the story! I have also posted the animation of this so check it out too. It is still a work in progress.Here is my story 



One morning 3 minecraft players where having a battle to the death those minecraft players names where Honey Mathew and Flynn when a roblox symbol appears in the sky then noobs fall from the sky and the roblox symbol appears under our feet suddenly and we fall and fall and we cant see our bodies where are we mathew asks i don't know i say and what is that i say pointing to the loading bar at the top of the screen it said 88% then 100% then it said loaded then we see a start button should we click it mathew asked yes honey  said. So we clicked it and it teleported us to a base that had a cloning machine flynn then

Have you ever read wind in the willows? I did and I enjoyed it! For term 2 in miss raynel's literacy group we had to chose out of wind in the willows and gangsta granny.I chose wind in the willows. Super Sisters!

Do you have any sisters? This is my SOL (student organised learning) on Matariki. First we had to answer 1 question which was what is Matariki? Then we had to answer 2 of our wondering's. I have not got that far and it is still a work in progress. I have chosen to do my SOL in a slide because its easy and you can do anything with it. Luxurious Leopard Report

What do you know about Leopards? I chose to do my Information report about leopard's because they are cute, I don't know much about them and I would like to find out more information about them. In Miss Raynel's Literacy group we had to make an information report about our Power of Nature topic. For Inquiry we were learning about the power of Nature.We were aloud to choose out of 4 topics the power of plants,animals,weather and natural disasters. I chose the Power of Animals.After we chose we had to narrow it down to a smaller topic  and I narrowed it down to Leopards.I hope you like my slide .
